Finca Caterina is a reformed and extended farmhouse just on the outskirts of the town of Teulada in the Costa Blanca. Five minutes walk into the village with its beautiful church but set in the countryside with lovely mountain views; this is an altogether more private yet convenient holiday location. The town offers everything you need in the form of shops, bars and restaurants but the house is in 2000 square metres of land with a fully secluded patio and swimming pool. The house sleeps eight people in four double bedrooms with two bathrooms making it suitable for two families if required. Moraira beach resort is less than ten minutes drive but Teulada is centrally located giving easy access to the larger resorts of Javea and Denia with attractive local towns like Benissa, Jalon, Gata de Gorgos, Benitachell, within a few minutes drive. From the nearby motorway you can drive south to Calpe, Altea and Benidorm or north to Valencia. Alicante airport is one hour south and Valencia airport one and a quarter hours north.
While maintaining a farmhouse feel, the house has every modern convenience and the following pictures show the syle of the house.
The house is only rented out for a few weeks in the summer. The rest of the time the owners are in residence so you will find everything you need for self catering for the family in comfort.
Downstairs is a large kitchen/dining room. The kitchen has a large gas oven with five burner hob and extractor, a double sink, large fridge freezer, plenty of cupboards and a food larder.
The lounge has comfortable seating, satellite television, video and DVD, hi-fi sound and CD player. Music and films are available for your use as well as books and games.
Downstairs, bedroom 3 has two single beds and bedroom 4 has a double bed. Both rooms have built-in wardrobes, drawer space and share a separate shower room.
Upstairs is a beautiful master bedroom with double aspect views to the mountain of Montgo from the balcony window and Sierra Bernia to the west. It has a double bed, plenty of storage and a writing desk.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds and fitted wardrobes and a lovely view. These two rooms share the main bathroom with bath and shower. There is unlimited hot water from the gas boiler.
The outside store has a washing machine for your use and a fridge for drinks on the patio. There are sun beds a barbecue and all you need for al fresco dining next to the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool.
This area of natural beauty has many things to offer visitors to the region. There are excellent coastal and mountain walks and for the less adventurous, organised walks are offered in most towns. Sailing and other watersports are available nearby together with snorkelling and scuba diving. There are golf courses, bowls clubs and tennis for the more energetic. Also nearby are cinemas showing Spanish and English language films and 10-pin bowling alleys in case the weather should turn inclement. For those people who just want to relax, there are superb beaches, bars and restaurants. Within a short drive in every direction are interesting places to visit and things to do and see for people of all ages.
